The event was organized as a result of the cooperation between the Academy of Sciences of Moldova and the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR), and had as main aim the promotion of the image of science and innovation sphere of the Republic of Moldova, development of new directions of scientific and technical cooperation and strengthening human potential for participation in joint research projects with JINR.
On behalf of the Moldovan scientific community, at the event participated representatives of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, Institute of Applied Physics, Institute of Electronic Engineering and Industrial Technologies, Institute of Chemistry, Technical University of Moldova, Information Society Development Institute, Agency for Innovation and Technology Transfer and Scientific Research Institute „ELIRI”.
During the three days of the event were organized a series of seminars, presentations of projects, programs, including visits to several laboratories of JINR and round tables on: “Cooperation in the field of science and basic training: Achievements and prospects” and on “Technology transfer and nanotechnologies in the Republic of Moldova”.
