    Energy tour in Belarus to foster Green Economy

    The main organisers of this event were the project 'Supporting the Transition to a Green Economy in the Republic of Belarus', funded by the European Union and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme, and the NGO 'Center of Ecological Solutions'. Events of the Energy Tour were held on July, 15 in Starobin (Minsk region), and on July, 16 in Zhitkovichi city (Gomel region). A seminar and festival on green economy and energy efficiency subjects were the main features of the tour.

    European School of Management and Technology supports the advancement of corporate governance in Uzbekistan

    ESMT, the European School of Management and Technology, will provide executive education for Uzbek managers in the area of corporate governance. The programme will focus on the basic principles and international standards of corporate governance. Additionally, modern management practices will be highlighted in the course. The first module starts on 8 September 2015 in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.

This event is a result of a recent merger of two international conferences: 'Physics at Large Hadron Collider' and 'Hadron Collider Physics Symposium'. The programme will be devoted to a review of the latest experimental and theoretical results on hadron collider physics, especially the results of the new LHC Run 2.

    DFG-RSF Cooperation: Call for Joint German-Russian Project Proposals in Physics and Mathematics

    To facilitate the support of collaborative work between German and Russian research groups, the Physics and Mathematics Division of the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG, German Research Foundation) and the Russian Science Foundation (RSF) have opened the possibility for joint German-Russian project proposals in the field of physics and mathematics (themes falling in the responsibility of the elected grant committees (Fachkollegien) 307–312).

    IraSME call open to Russian participation

    The call is targeted at international research, technology, development and innovation (RTDI) projects between small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) and research and technology organisations (RTOs). IraSME is a follow-up initiative of an ERA-NET by ministries and funding agencies. Regulations for Russian participants: Only small enterprises (< 100 employees) are eligible, research organisations only as subcontractors.

    UKRAINE – UKraine Replication, Awareness and INnovation based on EGNSS

    The primary objective of the UKRAINE project is to create a broad acceptance of EGNSS (European Global Navigation Satellite Systems) in Ukraine, leading to increasing adoption of Galileo and EGNOS (European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service) in a rapidly emerging market. The project aims to foster international cooperation in application development while simultaneously creating physical opportunities for knowledge building and commercial relationships. UKRAINE was established in January 2015. A unique contest to develop a multi-constellation receiver for release on the Ukrainian market was launched in April 2015.
