Information Exchange in Science and Technology between the European Research Area and Eastern European / Central Asian Countries

incrEAST is an information platform designed to:

- intensify international cooperation in science and technology
- facilitate the networking of research organizations and institutions in the countries of Eastern Europe/ Central Asia (EECA) and the European Union, and
- promote scientific dialogue between EECA countries and EU Member States.

incrEAST provides:

- detailed and up-to-date information about the political development of research and technology in the target countries,
- information about collaborative projects, programmes and partner organizations, as well as about potential Host Institutions in EECA countries for EU researchers
- contact information for local experts

The platform is geared towards researchers, developers and scientists who are interested in carrying out cross-border research projects, gaining experience in cooperating with the European Union, and conducting further research on the results of joint projects. incrEAST is also aimed at decision-makers in politics and the private sector.

  Project of the Month: IncoNet CA/SC - S&T International Cooperation Network for Central Asian and South Caucasus Countries

  IncoNet CA/SC addresses the countries of Central Asia (CA) and the South Caucasus (SC) as well as Moldova (MO). The project aims to strengthen their policy dialogue with the EU and to promote science an technology cooperation between the EU and the target regions. The project also benefits from the already ongoing IncoNet EECA project, expanding its activities with a specific focus on CA/SC and Moldova.
