Numerous useful databases have been developed in the frame of EU cooperation projects with Eastern Europe, Central Asia and the South Caucasus. Some are topic related, others provide information about experts, important research organistations or funding opportunities. Only databases that are accessible to the public have been included here. Select from a structured list to find the information you need.
In March 2011 we launched the new category “Database of the Month” on this web portal. Following the "Project Coordinators Meeting" of IncoNet EECA in Bonn in November 2010, the idea to present databases developed by different EU projects related to EECA was born. Apart from these especially featured databases, the following list aims to offer you a variety of starting points for your research cooperation with Eastern Europe, Central Asia and South Caucasus.

The Neutron Pathfinder
This website gives access to a database of all neutron instruments in European centres, that are open to external scientists. It was designed to fulfil three aims: to give general information about neutron methods (Methods section); to identify instruments that are used in certain fields of work (Science pathfinder), and to allow searching for the centres and instruments that allow a specific experiment (Experiment pathfinder). Routine neutron users can start off by choosing an instrument type (Instrument pathfinder). In the second step, they can either get a list of the chosen type or refine the search according to the parameters for a specific experiment.
