Moldova: Evaluation results of the second Open Call for Mobility within IncoNet CA/SC Project

The second open call for grant scheme to support participation of researchers from Moldova in FP7 events was launched in August 2011.  The call was announced by the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, a partner of the consortium in the European Project IncoNet CA/SC. The deadline for submitting applications was September 15.

The grant concerns the participation of researchers (from Universities, Research Institutions and companies with RTD activity) from Moldova on specialized international brokerage events taking place in Europe.

As a result of the evaluation performed by the poject cordinator, the task leader and the partner from Moldova (the Academy of Sciences), five researchers were selected for supporting their participation in FP7 events:

  • Ms. Elena Railean (Institute of Informational Society Development),
  • Mr. Viorel Nacu (SMPhU “Nicolae Testemitanu”),
  • Mr. Veaceslav Boldescu (State University of Moldova),
  • Ms. Natalia Usurelu (The National Centre of Reproductive Health and Medical Genetics), and
  • Ms. Elena Achimova (Institute of Applied Physics).

In total 15 applications were submitted.

The participation in brokerage events and RTD partnerships provides an opportunity for the researchers to meet their counterparts, seek cooperation or potential partners and facilitate consortium building for future projects. It will also allow the researchers to make their institutions and / or their research networks better known.
