    Information Day on Horizon 2020 SC5 Calls 2019: Climate Action, Environment, Resource Efficiency and Raw Materials

    The event targets potential applicants to the 2019 calls for project proposals under the Horizon 2020 Challenge 5 'Climate Action, Environment, Resource Efficiency and Raw Materials'. Registration is now open until 4 September 2018 or until an earlier date when the maximum number of participants has been reached.You are invited to join the bilateral pre-arranged meetings and present your interests in certain topics, your expertise on specific matters and/or your project ideas to possible project partners.

    Horizon Europe – The next European Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (2021-2027)

    Earlier this month, the European Commission has published its proposal for 'Horizon Europe', the EU's 9th Framework Programme for Research and Innovation, which will succeed the current Horizon 2020. It proposes roughly €100 billion billion over seven years, plus a range of related programmes in digital innovation, innovation finance and regional development. The budget will be divided into three main areas: Open Science, Global Challenges/Industrial Competitiveness, and Open Innovation. The debate on this plan is in full swing and will continue over the next months.

    RI-LINKS2UA are pleased to announce their 4th webinar on Horizon 2020. It addresses Ukrainian STI actors who are strongly interested in expanding their cooperation with European partners under the umbrella of Horizon 2020 and provides firsthand information about the ERC Grants and the new Work Programme 2019. All RI-LINKS2UA webinars are free of charge, easily accessible and open to any Ukrainian STI actor interested in cooperation with EU counterparts. Webinars will be held in English.

    IAMO Baku Conference 2018

    This year's conference is entitled 'Agriculture Trade and Foreign Investments for Sustainable Regional Integration in Caucasus and Central Asia'. The event is funded by German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and organised in close cooperation with the Institute for Scientific Research on Economic Reforms (ISRER) under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan. It adresses senior researchers, business companies, and policy makers from the Caucasus and Central Asia, as well as researchers from Europe.

    3rd Call: Grants for networking in Brokerage Events or Preparatory Meetings – apply now!

    The EaP PLUS Team announces the 3rd and last round of the Call for ‘Grants for networking’ in Brokerage Events or Preparatory Meetings. The grants for networking financially support the participation of local researchers from Eastern Partnership countries in Brokerage Events related to Horizon2020 and Preparatory Meetings for the development of H2020 project proposals. The 3rd round of the scheme continues to give special priority to applications concerning SPIRE calls which are explicitly encouraging participation from EaP countries.

    Submit your COST Action proposal until 29 November 2018

    COST invites proposals for Actions aiming at contributing to the scientific, technological, economic, cultural or societal knowledge advancement and development of Europe. COST does not fund research itself, but supports networking via different tools such as meetings, short term scientific missions, training schools and dissemination activities. Multi- and interdisciplinary proposals are encouraged. Among others, the list of COST eligible countries includes Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russia, and Ukraine.
