School on 'Advocacy and Policy Dialogue'

The EU funded project 'Civil Society. Dialogue for Progress' aims at supporting civil society organisations in the Eastern Partnership countries to become stronger players in policy dialogue. By empowering CSOs and strengthen their capacities we intend to create a more level playing field, thus giving them the best possibilities to get involved with their respective national and local authorities. The project is organising 'Schools' on 'Advocacy and Policy Dialogue' in various Ukrainian cities.

The project 'Civil Society. Dialogue for Progress' now invites the leaders of civil society organisations from Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region to apply for the two-day school 'Advocacy and Policy Dialogue'!

  • Do you work in a civil society organisation trying to contribute to the processes of development and implementation of public policy decisions that affect your local community?
  • Do you want to strengthen your organisation"s ability to have an impact on the local and national level?
  • Do you want the voices of those, whom you represent, to be heard and taken into account by decision-makers more often?

If you answered yes to the above questions, this school is a great opportunity for you to gain new skills and knowledge, find new partners and like-minded people!

The school is carried out within the framework of the EU-funded project `Civil Society. Dialogue for Progress´(from here on referred to as `the Project´). The training program covers the following topics:

  • Planning and implementation of effective advocacy campaigns
  • Lobbying, public, political and social activities
  • Decision-making by authorities and opportunities for influence for civil society organisations
  • Policy dialogue as a mechanism for engaging the general public
  • The Project fully covers the costs associated with participation in the school.
