The Kazakhstani institutions involved are Nazarbayev University, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Kazakh-British Technical University, Kanysh Satpayev Kazakh National Technical University, the Eurasian National University and S. Seifullin Kazakh Agro Technical University.

The British Council’s programme is supported by the Science Committee and the National Centre for Scientific Technical Evaluation, both under the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The programme has been active since 2008.
