Apply until 8 April to take part in the EU Study Days in Ukraine

The EU Delegation in Ukraine, in cooperation with the Centre for Ukrainian Reform Education, has opened a call for applications for the 12th EU Study Days’ session in Ukraine, aimed at helping Ukrainian students and graduates enhance their knowledge of the EU.
The session will be held on 22-26 April 2015 in Kherson, and will be focused on EU-Ukraine relations in key fields such as politics, security, Donbas conflict, Crimean annexation sanctions, economy, energy, law, values, visa issues, the Association Agreement and its future.

The EU Study Days will create an opportunity for Ukrainian university students and graduates to:

  • get more information about the European Union and EU-Ukraine relations from key experts in the field;
  • comprehensively study major issues in EU-Ukraine relations in all key fields (politics, security, Donbas conflict, Crimean annexation sanctions, economy, energy, law, values, visa issues, the Association Agreement and its future);
  • gain the opportunity to get in touch with representatives from the EU institutions, key experts and researchers;
  • develop a network of young people in Ukraine, which will be able to exchange their experience and implement joint initiatives in the future.

Who is eligible to apply?

The project is open to Ukrainian university students in their last years or recent graduates (who graduated max. three years ago) from Khersonska, Odeska, Mykolaivska, Kirovohradska oblasts and AR Crimea (target regions of the 12th session).

Priority will be given to students and graduates who obtained (or are obtaining) education in the following fields: international relations, European studies, law, political science, economy, finance, business, sociology, journalism, history, cultural studies, philosophy, philology.

How to apply?

Applications can be submitted online through a special questionnaire

 Deadline for applications: 8 April 2024, 23.00.

40 persons from the target regions will be selected to participate in the session. The selection will be made on the basis of the submitted application upon the following criteria: a) competence of the applicant; b) coverage of the biggest possible number of regions; c) applicant’s proficiency in English (knowledge of English is required to participate in the project).

The EU Study Days is an education project initiated by the Delegation of the European Union in Ukraine. It provides the opportunity for Ukrainian university students and graduates to gain deeper and wider knowledge about the European Union and EU-Ukraine relations from key experts in the field and from different viewpoints.
