EU Delegation to Ukraine opens additional call for applications for the next sessions of the EU Study Days project

The Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine, in cooperation with the Centre for European Reform Education, opens an additional call for applications for the 3rd and the 4th sessions of the EU Study Days in Ukraine, an initiative aimed at helping Ukrainian students and graduates enhance their knowledge about the EU.

The third session will be conducted on May 24-26, 2013 in Kyiv, and will be focused on political and economic aspects of the EU-Ukraine relations (Association Agreement, DCFTA, business, energy, etc). Deadline for applications: May 1st, 2013, 18.00 (Kyiv time). Applications can be submitted online through a special questionnaire available here.

The fourth session will be conducted on June 14-16, 2013 in Kyiv, and will be focused on political and identity aspects of the EU-Ukraine relations (Association Agreement, political dialogue, common values, history, etc). Deadline for applications: May 5th, 2013, 18.00 (Kyiv time). Applications can be submitted online through a special questionnaire available here.

Background

Through the EU Study Days project the EU Delegation to Ukraine intends to create an opportunity for Ukrainian university students and graduates to get deeper and wider information about the European Union and EU-Ukraine relations from key experts in the field. The project also facilitates establishment of a network of young people in Ukraine, able to exchange their experience and implement joint initiatives in the future.

Participation in the EU Study Days is free of charge. The organisers will cover travelling, accommodation and meals of the participants. Ukrainian and English are two working languages of the EU Study Days.

The first two sessions of the project were conducted on 6-10 March and on 12-14 April, 2013.

Who is eligible to apply?

Ukrainian university students in their last years or graduates who obtained (or are obtaining) education in the following fields: international relations, European studies, law, political science, economy, finance, business, sociology, journalism, history, cultural studies, philosophy.
