The aim of the workshop for National Contact Points (NCPs) from Eastern Europe and Central Asia is to offer an analysis of Framework Programmes and impact on innovation, to offer some insight in SBIR (small business innovation research), experiences made in EU and its evaluation, since this funding scheme will be relevant in Grand Challenges in Horizon 2020. In addition, there will be open discussions on differences, discontinuities and connections between research and innovation and about internationalisation of innovation policies. Last but not at all least, there will be a presentation on new innovation patterns (focus on innovations that are not enfolded by current innovation policy) which are screened by the research project InnovationFutures. Your contribution to the programme by reporting about innovation policies and its achievements in your countries is very welcome. Please announce your interest in participation to the contact person given below.
Financial support for travel expenses for about 20 to 25 participants can be offered (no daily allowance).
