Co-operation
incrEAST provides information about the scope and objectives of international co-operation in research, science and technology between Tajikistan and EECA countries, EU Member States and associated countries as well as about further opportunities for enhanced networking.
The Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan maintains the widest international connections with scientific centres of near and distant foreign countries. According to the decision of Council Government Heads of CIS and with the purpose of further expansion of integration processes in the field of science, the Academy of Sciences of Republic of Tajikistan accepts the most active participation in elaboration and realization of Conventions and Agreements within the framework of Interstate Integration Committee.
The international connections extend on the basis of interstate’s agreements or direct contracts between the Academy of Sciences of Republic of Tajikistan and research centres of foreign countries. Scientists of AS RT started actively to participate in joint projects under FP6/FP7 as well as ISTC, NATO, UNDP, OSCE and others. A number of projects have been already financed under the ISTC, NATO, IAEA, OSCE, UNDP, FP6/FP7 programs and by TASIS office, and other programs in Tajikistan. AS RT have established conditions for further cooperation.
The scientific potential of Academy of Sciences of Republic of Tajikistan is sufficiently high. The Academy of Sciences has much experience and has to exert more influence in development of science, culture, education and economy of the republic of Tajikistan.
