incrEAST provides:
The platform is geared towards researchers, developers and scientists who are interested in carrying out cross-border research projects, gaining experience in cooperating with the European Union, and conducting research on the results of joint projects. incrEAST is also aimed at decision-makers in politics and in the private sector.
IncrEAST was initiated by the EU FP7 funded project IncoNet EECA (International Cooperation Network for Eastern Europe/Central Asia) and continued under several successor projects funded under the EU's 7th Framework Programme for Research and Development. Regional correspondents from these projects – experts for the science landscapes and research policies of their countries – regularly updated the information provided here. The Central Information Office of these IncoNets developed close links with other EU cooperation projects targeting these regions, which also contributed their expertise to this portal.
IncoNet CA concluded its activities in September 2016, IncoNet EaP ended in December 2016. As Horizon 2020 funded follow-up projects with the Eastern Partnership region and Central Asia (EaP Plus, BLACK SEA HORIZON, RI-LINKS2UA) have not allocated sufficient resources to further maintain this web portal, regular daily updates as well as the publication of country reports and newsletters ceased at the end of 2016.
The supporting Horizon 2020 projects (see left menu bar) will however continue to provide you with occasional updates here and on their projects' websites.
